This food truck is a nice little find. I got some street tacos with side of rice and beans. We are going to eat here again before leaving the island. It was great. The R&B were some of the best I’ve had. 5 for a Diet Coke would be my only complaint. Ate there late in the evening so the outdoor patio area was lit up with string lights. Pretty cool outdoor seating. Not very big though. Might have to get them to go if there isn’t a place to sit. Self serve salsa bar with cilantro and onion for the street tacos was nice too.
So good! We went twice! One of the best veggie burritos I’ve ever had—and I’ve had a lot, including in San Francisco’s Mission District. The burrito was full of flavor and super satisfying. The sauce bar was Absolutely amazing! Every sauce was delicious, especially the roasted pepper and spicy orange sauce, We had to go back before our trip ended. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Maui!
We stopped here right after we landed—it’s 5 minutes away from the airport. what a way to start off the trip! got a birria burrito, carne asada taco, shrimp taco, and fish taco. each thing was better than the next—will definitely be coming back!

Omg what a fantastic mexican food truck in Hawaii. Stopped by for dinner and this place does not disappoint. We ordered their pastor, shrimp tacos & birria taco combos. Everything was delicious but the pastor and shrimp tacos were beyond amazing. The best part about this food truck is their salsa bar where you can add additional sauces and toppings to your tacos. We had their spicy red sauce and green sauce and they were flavorful which just elevated the taste of tacos. Tobi was our server and he was great and service was quick. They have cute little outdoor seating with ambient lights. But these tacos are as authentic as they can get. Highly recommend when in Maui.
Steak tacos are really good and must try! Owner is super friendly and was doing everything by himself which shows his love for the customers and fabulous service! Love that they have a toppings bar where you can customize your own tacos or food! One of the best tacos we have tried in the island!
Always looking for Mexican food wagons wherever I travel. I found Ono Tacos Hawaii to be true to its name! I ordered their Berria beef burrito and it was onolicious. Their bar of house-made salsa sauces was excellent. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Made my meal experience Broke Da mouth rating! Highly recommended
Amazing Service and Great Tacos! We had an incredible experience at this taco place! Our server, Tobias, was absolutely amazing. We were a very large family, and honestly, we made quite a mess with our orders—mixing things up and changing our minds. But Tobi handled everything perfectly with a great attitude, lots of patience, and a big smile. He made sure we all got exactly what we wanted, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Oh, and the tacos? Delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth it. We’ll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Tobi as your server!
